Snowy Arizona
For Presidents weekend, a few family members and I went up north to Flagstaff on a Day Trip to see the snow. My sisters joined me, my boyfriend, along with my Cousin's Family.
My Cousin had just turned 40 years young a few days before and we were celebrating him going into a new stage in his life. His Mom, which was someone very influential and close to our family, passed away unexpectedly two months before. This family trip reminded us of how thankful and fortunate we are to have each other in our lives.
There was a different feel to Flagstaff this go around, as this was the first time that we had the opportunity to see both rain and snow. When the rain stopped, the wind came to a holt and the snow began to makes it way down. It was both light and soft against our faces as we looked around to see it surround us like mother natures sweet blanket. It provided us with a sense of warmth during these cold times and hope as we all knew it would soon melt away. Nothing lasts forever and the feelings will always remain. These distant memories we shall cherish as we go through our various journeys.
It was wonderful to capture a moment of pure joy when my cousin was playing in the snow with his family. It is rare when we get the chance to enjoy our natural surroundings in the city, let alone the opportunity to let go of our inner child. Our day in the snow was timeless and heartwarming.

Glimpse of the Child Within.
